 SchoolsSchools Standard & Poor identified Mecklenburg County School District as an “Outperforming School District.” Only 16 of the 132 school districts analyzed in Virginia received this rating. To be so designated, the school districts must: 1. Achieve higher levels of student proficiency than peers. 2. Perform at a level that significantly exceeds statistical expectation. 3. Out perform consistently. There are 1 primary, 6 elementary, 2 middle, and 2 high schools in the county. The new South Hill Elementary School pictured above will replace 1 primary and 1 elementary school. |
